Ice-Petal, last of her parents' three children, exalted at a very young age. From the first it was clear she had a deep affinity for the lofty and intellectual ideals exemplified by her Aspect. She was detached, focussed, or as less charitable souls called her, aloof and cold. Her anima and caste markings reflect this: her skin is a pale ice-blue, and wherever she goes a light fall of very short-lived snow flakes dusts the ground around her. An inquisitive and curious nature, coupled with her sharp mind, made sorcery a natural choice for her, and she followed her mother's footsteps into the Heptagram once she had completed her early schooling. Donal was delighted - she'd had high hopes that Raijuu, her middle child, would enter the school, and despite supporting his unconventional decision to become a Magistrate, had been disappointed that a child of hers had not yet learned the ways of sorcery.
Assisted by her mother's excellent knowledge and occult library, Ice-Petal was an attentive and quick study, impressing her tutors at the Heptagram. She soon found she preferred the company of Elementals to mortals, and was seldom seen without one of her many icy companions. She never grew close to any of her classmates, and in a school where intimate relationships with demons and other creatures is seen as almost normal, her very platonic friendships with the Elementals she summoned were cause for some comment among her fellow students. However her graduation spell, Revelations of the Frost Mirror, won her much praise in sorcerous circles both inside and outside the school, and ensured that no lingering scandal clung to her as she left.
Ice-Petal likes nothing more than a good mystery. She shares her family's love of lore, especially that of the First Age, and also particularly enjoys the company of Elementals. While she is no fool and realises the danger her investigations often lead her into, she does not like direct confrontation. Now Ice-Petal has finished her schooling and has stepped into the wide world, she often enlists the aid of Elementals in exploring ruins or other potentially dangerous areas, and will dodge out of range of attackers, returning aggression from a distance with her chakram, a gift from her mother.

Other Notes: Ice-Petal here has just left the Heptagram, and is still learning spells (she is a starting-level character). Revelations of the Frost Mirror is the spell she developed as her final test to pass out of the Heptagram; if you don't wish to use it, substitute Coin of Distant Vision [Bo3C, p33].
