This black silk handerchief is nearly transparent when completely unfurled. It has no special functions that can be discerned until it is folded according to a certain occult pattern and worn about one's brow. While it is worn, the Solar who wears it must spend one more peripheral mote than usual to activate the different levels of his anima. Additionally, the bandanna has the power to hide caste marks of its bearers completely.

The number of peripheral motes spent to activate the different levels of anima are as follows: L1: 2-4, L2: 5-8, L3: 9-12, L4: 13-16, L5: 17+
